New: I’m moving all the portfolio to a new location. There are empty templates, millioñes de typos, duplicates entries, and a lot of 404 errors. Doing this in my spare time so please be patient.

GlyphForge. Set a mark. Prove it at 16px.

Design
Glyph Forge builds personalised mark from any icon or a few letters — set inside a polygon you control (used in the website). Export it as an SVG that scales to any size, or a PNG at 64 to 1024 pixels. No account, and nothing you make is stored on a server — though choosing Letters does ask Google Fonts for the characters you typed, so it can send back just those letterforms.

A small tool for making a mark: a favicon, an app tile, an avatar. You pick one of 371,000 icons, or type a few letters, and set it inside a polygon whose sides, rotation, corner radius and colours you control. It exports an SVG that scales to any size, or a PNG from 64 to 1024 pixels. The marks on this site were made with it.

The tagline is the brief: set a mark, prove it at 16px. The preview shows the mark in a browser tab at 16 pixels, as an app tile and as an avatar, because that is where it has to work. When the icon and its fill drop below 3:1 contrast, the page says so. It is a warning rather than a block, but at 16 pixels a faint mark disappears.

Privacy

There is no account, and nothing you make is stored on a server. Choosing letters does ask Google Fonts for the characters you typed, so it can send back just those letterforms.

Licences

The icons come from 238 open icon sets through Iconify, and each set has its own licence. Most are free to use, some need attribution, and a few restrict commercial use. Brand logos are trademarks. Check a set’s terms before you ship a mark built from it.
